As the team’s publicist, I need a football player to be the face of our charity calendar, and Jones Beckett needs a savvy PR woman to manage his new sponsorship deal. A simple give and take, and I’m sure I’ll have no problem following my iron-clad rule - don’t date a player. And never ever fall for one. No matter how charming, big-hearted, and devilishly clever the man is. But you know what they say about best laid plans.... Once I start spending my off-season days and nights with Jones, I’m following a brand new playbook.

Forbidden romance, I love it, and this book ticked all the boxes. Super hot NFL player, Jones Beckett, falls for the off limits team publicist, Jillian Moore, in this sweet sports romance. Jillian did a fantastic job of avoiding awkward one on one situations with Jones, even when he was flaunting his crown jewels in the changing room. All it takes though is one business trip, just the two of them, and their walls start to crumble, and although they agree it’s just a weekend fling, that’s easier said than done. Lovely writing, an adorable couple with some seriously cute animal action. On a personal note, I would really love to get my hands on ‘that’ calendar. Sweet, fun, sexy read. Perfectly narrated.

There are a million reasons why Miles Hart isn't the man I should date but allow me to enumerate the top three: He's friends with my brother; he's a single dad; and he's a sexy, in-demand rock star. He might as well wear an off-limits, totally unavailable, and don't-even-attempt-to-ride-this-ride sign. And there's one more little itty-bitty thing - he's never asked me on a date. That is, until he asks me to be his plus-one when his band plays at his high school reunion. It shouldn't be a big deal. After all, we're just friends, and no one is giving us our own hashtag. Except me....

What a lovely, sweet read. Quite possibly my favourite of the three. I just love these brothers so much, what a wonderful family, and don’t even get me going on Ben, he is just adorable, he definitely steals the show. Friends to lovers, forbidden(ish) romance, featuring single dad Miles, and single mum to be Roxy, as they decide to be each others plus one for special occasions. A lovely story with wonderful characters (including another hot sexy Hart brother), and lots of cameos from all the previous stories. A complete feel good read. Once again narrated perfectly by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.

I've waited years for my drop-dead sexy boss, Tristan Hunter, to notice me as something other than his right-hand gal. But though his dog is deeply in love with me, Tristan and I seem doomed to the friend zone. Until the night we kiss... It's all a ruse, of course - our make-out session is for the benefit of the two heartbreakers who dumped us - but very real sparks fly when his lips meet mine. At least...they're real for me.

Tristan, the youngest Hunter is sensitive and vulnerable, yet he’s still as masculine, sexy and adorable as his older brothers. He’s not naive (well he was with his bitchy ex), he’s honest to a fault and doesn’t shy away from commitment, it’s very refreshing. His best friend, and work colleague, Zoey Childers has crushed on him for what seems like forever, and when thy get a chance to explore a relationship (admittedly a fake one), they both jump at the chance. It isn’t going to stay fake for long though, they’re both just too innocent and honest to lie to each other. A fun read, with the naughty pooch, Luke, stealing the limelight on more than one occasion. Again, perfect narration from my favourite duo.

They say Rafe Hunter is trouble with a capital T. I say - bring it on.  As long as Trouble comes in a package as delicious as Rafe’s, I’m ready to climb on his Harley and ride all night long - and I’m not just talking about his motorcycle. I can hide out until the scandal with my evil ex blows over and have a wild rebound at the same time. Besides, I’ve got no heart left to break. My ex made sure of that. As long as Rafe and I keep our no-strings fling from our families, what can possibly go wrong?

When Rafe and Carrie agree to a friends with lots of benefits deal, you know straight away that it’s all going to go wrong, but the journey to their destination is one helluva ride? A wonderful story, excellent writing and fun sexy characters, apart from Jordan, who is described perfectly as a ‘tool’. Oh, and yes, book 3 is downloaded and waiting for me as I type. As usual. Perfect narration.

For six generations, the women of wine country have had a saying: don’t bang a Hunter man unless you want a bun in your oven. Yeah, well. I’ve got a saying too: no thanks. The last thing I need is baby makes three. My business is expanding, and the only thing I’m interested in getting knocked up is my bottom line. But then one night, Emma Haverford makes me an offer I can’t refuse - she backs away from the land I have my eye on in exchange for a favor...a big, fat, baby-making favor....

My first solo Lili Valente read, and I can’t wait to meet Hunter Brother #2, he’s waiting on my kindle as I type. I love standalone series following family members. This is a fun, flirty and predictable read, no surprises, but a truly wonderful romance with fab characters that I was really rooting for. Emma Haverford wants a baby, more than anything, only problem is, she’s no plans to be in a relationship, and she’s not too keen on a faceless donor. Dylan Hunter is prime baby making material, only problem is, he’s not interested in making a baby, until that is, his arch nemesis, Emma Haverford makes him an offer too good to be true. An all round enjoyable read that kept me hooked from the get-go. Oh, and yes, let’s not forget the perfect narration from my favourite duo.

I'll say this about Christian - he made one hell of a first impression. When I first saw the strapping man, he was doing handstands naked on a dock along the canal. His crown jewels were far more entertaining than anything else I'd seen on the boat tour, so I did what any curious woman would do - I took his photo.

Not my favourite Lauren Blakely read. I didn’t relate or sympathise with the characters during the first half of the story. In fact it wasn’t until the last few chapters that I felt a little solidarity with them. Although I wanted to see which direction the story would take, I wasn’t addicted, and I felt like I was going through the motions to get to the end of the story. It was enjoyable and easy to read, I just didn’t feel all the ‘feels’ like I have in previous books by the author. The storyline was perfect, the chemistry just fell a little flat. I loved Grace Grant narrating, as for Shane East, I have an issue sometimes with British accents in audio, why do they all speak with a plum in their mouth.

It's so easy being best friends with a gorgeous, talented, charming guy. Said no woman ever. Except me. My friendship with Miller is a sure thing — he’s my plus one, my emergency contact, and my shoulder to lean on. He’s also been by my side helping me raise one helluva awesome kid who’s the center of my world. Nothing will change our easy breezy friendship. Until I have the bright idea to convince him to start a new band with me. Trouble is, our sizzling chemistry in the recording studio is getting harder to ignore, no matter how risky it might be.

I just can’t get enough. Lauren Blakely. You’re on fire! What a fantastic series. I’m loving these brothers, and ‘Once Upon a Sure Thing’ is one of my favourite genres, friends to lovers. Another true old fashioned love story. Truly, what wonderful characters. If you’ve read book 1, and you really should, you’ll be well acquainted with Miller and Ally, best friends forever. Both can sing, but are apparently dreadful when they sing together, not true, and Ally is willing to put everything on the line to prove it. Then there’s the adorable 11 year old niece that Ally is raising, such a sweetie, I loved her. Wonderful writing, a storyline that has stood the test of time, a perfectly light, easy read. Let’s not forget my dream duo narrating. A perfect book for audio.

I cannot get enough of this series. Book 1 was pretty much all Temperance’s point of view, in book 2 we get a lot more from ‘the strangers’ point of view, and yes. The stranger has a name, and he trusts Temperance enough to give her his name and so much more. I love seeing their relationship evolve. I’m unable to review without spoilers, but, suffice to say, it was perfectly written, it had lots of steamy sex scenes, I love the characters, they’re so multi faceted and I still don’t know who to trust. Of course, we’re left with a cliffie, but hey ho I’ve already got the third and final book lined up, so I can cope with it. Awesome narration, as usual from this duo.

I do what I want and who I want. I don't follow anyone's rules-even my own. I knew I shouldn't touch her, but it didn't stop me. Didn't stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third. My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn't. But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I'm nowhere near ready to quit her yet. I'll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness. Hopefully it doesn't kill us both.

I don’t think anyone does dirty alphas like Meghan March, and, ‘the man with no name’ is one hot as hell dirty alpha. I’ve loved all of Meghan New Orleans’ stories, and what’s even better with this is I’ve waited until this whole series is out, no more waiting for cliffies. Yay me. This book is told fully from Temperance’s point of view, apart from the last chapter. We never get to find out the stranger’s name, but just like Temperance I didn’t need to know it, he gave me all the feels anyway. Hot, hot hot. A quick, sexy, extremely addictive, beautifully written read. I loved it. Temperance has a wonderfully dry sense of humour, I loved her, and I loved her slightly dark and dirty side. The audio version is perfect. I love Grace Grant, but if you’re buying on the pretence of Joe Arden, don’t bother, he’s in it for less than 5 minuets at the end. Still. I can’t wait for book 2. I need to know more about our Savage Prince.

That smoking hot one-night stand with a former rock star? Turns out, he's my son's new teacher. Oops. But I didn't know that the night I met Campbell. All I knew was he played my body the same way he played a guitar - like he owned it. My libido is still high-fiving me after being self-served for too many years, and we're both ready for another night or two of fun, especially since we don't just have chemistry in bed - we connect over everything.
