Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful is what I think of this book/story. Having turned into an audio book junkie recently, I jumped at the chance to listen and review this one. With the cover totally selling it to me! Its absolutely gorgeous, don’t you think?! Well so is the story.

With 12 hour plus listening time…dont let that put you off. Once I started this and got sucked into Tilly’s world I honestly couldn’t stop listening to it and ended up finishing it in a couple of days. Trust me that’s quick it normally takes me a week to listen to an audio.

I love how its narrated by a man and woman has the story alternates between Tilly and James. These guys are amazing and so are the friendships in this story. The whole time I felt myself willing Tilly along.

The whole backdrop of the story is Tilly’s OCD with gardening. This is the part would I could smell the flowers and easily sit in her garden for hours. It took me back to my childhood with my Nan and her gardening.

This is one of those stories that will make you smile and pull at your heartstrings if your a fan of Jodi Picoult then you will love this. The Unfinished Garden is one hell of a moving story. Which I highly recommend.

After reading The Puppet Show twice and loving it I couldn’t wait to read this beauty. Just when I thought M.W. Craven couldn’t get any better, he did just that and has blown my brain! OMFG this book is mind blowing….I just didn’t want it to end! and that is no exaggeration.

I actually listened to this audio, seems to be my thing at the moment. But this story is so damn good I actually had to stop listening to it….Can you believe that?! then two days later I finally listened to the last hour.

A big shout out to the narrator John Banks I absolutely loved the way the story was told, the narrators voice just suits the story. If you know what I mean.

This book blows all the books I have read out of the water, and I am just so excited for you all to read it. From Brilliant characters to an epic plot. I guarantee that you wont be disappointed. I can’t wait for the next book. This is without a doubt the one of the best books I have read/listened to this year!

If your looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat then this is the book for you. Which I cannot recommend enough giving it all the stars.

Firstly I must apologise that I am a little to the party with this one, I honestly can’t keep up with LJ Ross. Anyway this is the tenth Book in the DCI Ryan Mysteries series….How the hell did that happen?! It doesn’t seem like yesterday when I first started this series, when it was actually two years ago.

I absolutely love each and every single book in the series, the author always brings us something new and exciting.

In this story we taken to the north sea when a viking treasure is discovered. Things take a turn when local historian Anna calls DCI Ryan for help when a ship wreck diver washes up dead.

Once again the author paints a stunning picture with her picturesque descriptions making you feel, right there in the story. Weaving this into an exciting mystery which is a unique story line. I am now desperate to visit the sea houses after reading this.

I love the characters and the humour Frank’s one liners made me LOL and can’t wait to read the next book.

This is a perfect who-dun-it mystery, I couldn’t read it fast enough. If you are looking for a fast paced page turner then this is the book for you. This is a series not to be missed……Which I highly recommend.

This is one of those books that I simply had to read after reading all the rave reviews. There were 54 victims but who is the 55th! is what this book is all about. I was hooked from the start ,Set in Wilbrook in Western Australia when we follow the story of Gabriel who turns up at Chandler's station covered in dried blood. and tells his story. and what a story it is! Then a man called Heath walks into the same station claiming he was kidnapped by a man called Gabriel......Two suspects. Two identical stories. Which one is the truth?

55 is one very clever story that will have you hooked and guessing until the end. It is jam packed with suspense and mystery has well has some nail biting descriptions.

am a massive Sophie Kinsella Fan especially the shopaholic series which is actually the series that got me into Chick Lit.

In the book the author brings us fresh new characters....when we meet Fixie Farr a character that I adore. I have to admit that I totally got her sense of humor because it is so much like my own. She has a tendency to fix things.

We follow her on a journey where she finds herself torn between the present and the past when her teenage crush Ryan comes back into her life. But can she fix her own life?!

This is a brilliant laugh out loud love story you cannot help but route for Fixie.

I Owe you one is a fun, witty engaging read which I highly recommend.

Holding my head in shame while writing this, because I have to admit this is the first book that I have read by the author, and it sure as hell won’t be my last!

The author takes us on a creepy but also very eerie journey with this story when we meet Kirsty and her family who move from London to have a fresh start running a guesthouse what Kirsty doesn’t expect is for her first guest is someone that she hasn’t seen for 17 years….and that’s just the start.

I found myself tangled in a web of lies and secrets not knowing who to trust.

With an OMG opening I was well and truly hooked, This is one very intriguing story that will certainly keep you guessing until the end. Just when I thought I had it all worked out the author throws you off the path by throwing a twist that I didn’t see coming.

Although I found the story slower paced in parts compared to THAT opening, it never ruined my enjoyment of the story.

For some strange reason I thought this was going to be a your normal domestic noir…..How wrong was I! This is without a doubt a suspense mystery, dropping clues out throughout. While the reader is trying to piece together the puzzle. This is a proper Who-Dunn-It book.

I am looking forward to reading more books by the author, with this being a very addictive atmospheric read. Which I highly recommend.

Hanging my head in shame I have to admit that this is the first book that I have read by James Oswald even though I do have a his books on that mountain pile of mine. I jumped at the chance to take part in this tour with it giving me the perfect opportunity to start his books. and I sure has hell wasn’t disappointed.

No Time to Cry is the first book in a brand new series introducing DC Constance Fairchild. I actually listened to the audio version of this and once I started it I couldn’t stop listening to it! The Narrator has done a brilliant job of portraying the characters with the use of different accents she made me feel like I was watching it rather than reading it, of course this will also be due to the fact that the author has written a brilliant story and makes you feel like part of the story.

The story is told in first person so it worked well listening to it. Con is a strong character the more I listened to the more I wanted to know. We get to know her well in this first story when her boss is found dead.

There are some rather uncomfortable subject matters which some readers may find offensive sensitivity is shown in the authors writing they literally made me squirm.

Not having read any of his other books I am not in a position to compare. But what I can say is that I am glad that I have read this and I will soon be making a start on the authors other books.
No Time to Cry is a strong solid read that will have you hooked from start to finish readers old and new will not be disappointed.

OMFG this has to be the best audio book I have ever listened to……I am very fussy when it’s comes to audio books the narrator voice has to fit the characters. This audio has totally blown me away I cannot begin to tell you how good it is, not only do we have different narrators for the characters but we also have background noise like the phones in the office ringing and every time Ryan’s phone rang I actually thought it was mine, having the same ring tone lol Oh and of course the creepy killer scenes OMG very very ery

I have before that this series would make a brilliant TV show and this audio is simply the best making you feel part of the investigation. I have always said that this series would make a brilliant TV show now I think that even more. Close your eyes for a second while watching your favourite programme and just listen to the words…..This is exactly what The Infirmary is like watching a thriller without the TV, you will know what I mean when you listen to it.

Not only have the narrators brought this story to life but LJ Ross needs to gives herself a pat on the back with the story. This is the best one in the series so far…..well that’s what I think anyway. I was hooked from the very first chapter, I must admit I am a big fan of DCI Ryan and I love him even more now. For those of you who have read this series we get to learn more about Ryan and how he started on Holy Island when we follow him on a catch me if you can investigation when the chief inspector goes missing.

This is one hell of an engaging story, once you start it you won’t be able to stop it is utterly addictive.

Not forgetting that The Infirmary is the prequel to the DCI Ryan Mysteries series and is a brilliant place to start for those of you who haven’t read it yet with only six hours to listening time I cannot recommend it enough giving it all the stars.

I am a massive fan of Kerry’s she has this special gift where she can take the reader though a whirlwind of emotion and twist you up in knots. But I do have to admit that this is the first one of Kerry’s that I have listened to on audio!

I loved the narrator, who had her work cut out with all the different characters. She has done a brilliant job of bringing them to life. The only downfall of this audio is that it is so long. In future I will stick to what I know and read them. Due to the fact that I could of read it quicker.

So this is the second instalment of the series and what a story it is…this series just get’s better. I am not going to rave on about the plot because you need to read this for yourself. The Rules certainly steps up a pace compared to the last book. Not only does it step up a pace but also the violence. With some proper eye popping stuff……LOVED IT!

It took me three days to listen to this, listening to it any second I could, I was dying to know what was going to happen next. This story will have you on the edge of your seat guessing until the very end who the governor is…..Crikey what a read!

There are plenty of OMG moments and twists and turns….what more can I say but Kerry has nailed it, Now I cant wait for the next book.

I have to admit that I didn’t read this book and that I ended up listening to it on audio whilst on holiday a month ago.

The narrator has done a brilliant job of bringing the characters to life has we follow DS Grace Allendale on a case that will keep you hooked from start to finish.

This is the second book in the series and I am happy to report that it can be read has a standalone. Set in Stoke, the story starts off with an OMG start when a teenage girl is murdered in broad daylight crikey the author knows how to keep your attention.

Two days later another body is found……has the plot thickens. Having no idea who the killer is can Grace catch the killer before it happens again?!

I loved how the chapters in this story told by a person who the reader or in my case the listener has no idea who it is……talk about intriguing.

One of the things that I love about Mel’s books are the characters, They are believable, and you can always relate to them Grace is without a doubt another one of those characters.

Tick Tock will certainly keep you on your toes, with plenty of twists and turns . I was totally addictive to this story, now I am left waiting for for book three.
