Beautifully and emotively written yet still highly informative and factual. This book is gripping and not once does it feel boring or essay like. Afua narrates it’s well. And I’m sad it’s over!

This was different to the first book in the series ‘You’, but still just as good, gripping and excellently written. The characters were so realistic and the narrator did a great job. Really enjoyable listen! Will miss it.

The narrators really bring this story to life. This book stands out for the character perspectives of black Americans and their feelings towards a system rigged against them in America. Really eye opening and riveting.

I like this book, it was an addictive read however I feel like the outcome was slightly predictable as I had guessed the culprit pretty early on.
I really loved the narrators which is what made the complete audiobook for me, the narrator for Amy was great and so convincing and the narrator for Alex's parts had a beautiful, clear and therapeutic voice, and really fleshed out the character well and made the story believable.
I enjoyed the book and was very gripped, I feel like Fiona's character was slightly one dimensional but overall a good and gripping read

This book starts off being very gripping however it is let down by the one dimensional characters, and overly dramatic ending which doesn't fit in with the rest of the book. The ending seems rushed and wasn't worth investing all my time in the story. Characters are not likeable and there is a lack of not only character development, but also back story of the characters. I dint recommend this book.
