From the beginning until the final words, this had me hooked. There wasn't a moment of boredom contained in this novel. The narrator was perfect for the story and captured the characters. He made it sound easy. Brilliant.

A fast paced storyline and wonderful narration by the author. Good to see a stong female protagonist that the reader can respect.

The characters in this book are so well rounded that I wasn't sure who I liked at first, except for the protagonist, Blue. It was compelling reading or in this case listening and I am greatful that the author has written more books.

I wasn't sure that I'd like this book not being a fan of post apocalypse stories because they are generally too depressing. This was different. It had great characters who had to overcome the impossible to survive. Great writing which for me means an author who can paint a picture in my head. Thank you.

The story hits the spots for me and the narrator is icing on the cake. Just wish there was an endless supply of John Conroe books.

Would you consider the audio edition of Release the Dogs of War to be better than the print version?

I love Emily's performance. Her love of the book comes through.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It is too difficult to decide on a favourite character. I love the interplay between the bitches and the women. Gabriel is one of my favourite characters because she is how a woman should be - strong and feminine at the same time. Something for us mere mortals to aspire to be.

Have you listened to any of Emily Beresford’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Alway consistent and professional. Love her voices. She brings the characters to life.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

When're Revenge is what you want, but Justice is what you need.

Any additional comments?

Keep up the good work and get the next one out soon.
