Good, but not the series best

it started well, dragged a little on the middle, but picked up towards the end - and not too bad an ending I thought. With so many other characters I found it more difficult to listen to, particularly when so much time had been invested in the principle two. Overall, I'd recommend those having read or listened to the first two books to give this a go. It also makes both a neat finishing to the series and enables a stepping stone to a new trilogy. Prizes no doubt to guess the title of the next book.

Unusually, I listened to this 3rd instalment immediately after I finished the second just to know how to all ended up. It kept my attention, although in audio form I kept losing track of the Bob's, which I expect is what the author wanted. overall, an entertaining well written story nicely packed.

Yep, needs a third series to 'tie up' loose ends. Enjoyable, well written and passed the time.

I expected the fourth book of the series to lose the plot, like most do after a defined trilogy. But, the fourth was fab and the fifth as good if not better. Complex, violent, sad and hopeful. heroes and villains both struggle with what date has given. I listened to this while walking my dogs. in the last four hours of the book they had lots of walks. Can't wait for the Sith book. Hope it doesn't let me down.

Normally, the forth book of a trilogy spirals downwards towards dull, repetitive and an afterthought. (Think Dune). This book I found excellent. The characters remained in character. The story twisted and kept up the standard set by the first three books. It's a win for the author as I now need to listen to the next one like really quickly. Oh, as for the narration yep could be better but was too mesmerised by the story to care.

Skip to the last two hours.

Nearly gave up on this after it seemed to be going nowhere but the last few hours were not too bad and I found it quiet intresting and well put together. Unfortunately, the many hours at the beginning did mot make the ending any better and could and should have been shortened without losing much. Only my opinion tho.

brought this having read reviews in the Sunday papers. it's not too bad although tends to be like those action film that jump from one prob to another. it's short in comparison to most books but kept my interest to the end.

Although at times it got a little side tracked and repetitive, for all that it was an enjoyable story and read well.

Pleasently surprised. Good story. Good characterisation. Nicely read. Would have benefited from a more harsh ending.
