How to Fail: Everything I’ve Ever Learned from Things Going Wrong
- By: Elizabeth Day
- Narrated by: Elizabeth Day
- Length: 9 hrs and 42 mins
Part memoir, part manifesto, and including chapters on dating, work, sport, babies, families, anger and friendship, it is based on the simple premise that understanding why we fail ultimately makes us stronger. It's an audiobook about learning from our mistakes and about not being afraid. Uplifting, inspiring and rich in stories from Elizabeth’s own life, How to Fail reveals that failure is not what defines us; rather it is how we respond to it that shapes us as individuals.

Absolutely NOT a failure!
I am a self-confessed self-help seeker. I read/listen to anything that promises to help the vast swathes of 20-somethings navigate the tricky course of the notorious decade (particularly if it’s endorsed by The Queen of the genre, Dolly Alderton). ‘How To Fail’ is now firmly a top my list; honest, funny and reassuring, Day manages to encapsulate, connect with and resolve lingering self doubt in just 9 hours. Highly recommended - essential reading!
