A story with many twists and turns. Strong independent women their loves, losses and their unbendable wills. Amy McFadden did a great job narrating. I didn't want it to end.

Some good characters especially the her father. There were some and very funny dialogs and laugh out loud moments. For most of the book Poppy was wrapped up in her own thoughts. Great narration just not my cup of tea.

This is a must for lovers of historical romances. It has everything, suspense, strong women, handsome men, great dialogue and love, love and more love. I will be looking for more books from this author. The narrator was excellent and did a great job.

Great book, great narration. This historical romance is very enjoyable. Lovely characters, great banter. Great when the leading lady is clever and a match for the gentlemen of the era in every domain.

The narrator was terrible, the voices sometimes had an Irish lilt and they were not consistent. This was my first book by this author and I will not rush out to buy another. Maybe with a different narrator it would have been better. I love historical romance & time travel books but this did not do it for me

Well read and different from the usual historical romance. The ending was predictable but still enjoyable getting there. I will be looking out for her next book, and the next book narrated by Lana J. Weston.
