Like many women, Clare Pooley found the juggle of a stressful career and family life a struggle, so she left her successful role as a managing partner in one of the world's biggest advertising agencies to look after her family. She knew the change wouldn't be easy, but she never expected to find herself an overweight, depressed, middle-aged mother of three who was drinking more than a bottle of wine a day and spending her evenings Googling 'am I an alcoholic?'

what a fabulous insight as to what we just might be putting ourselves through. if nothing else it makes you think before you pour that habitual glass of wine. These diaries tell the story as if looking into our lives but the thing I loved the most, no judgement, Make up your own mind. thank you

Suzie Miller, a disillusioned agony aunt, can't believe she's been dumped from a great height yet again (this time by text!). So she decides the time is right to make every one of her exes feel the pain she felt when they carelessly cast her aside. Her methods are unusual but humiliation on a grand scale is no less than they deserve. And then she starts giving the same advice to her readers….

Great story , loved the fact we had a hereoin and not all glamous . Didn't want to miss a word, if I fell asleep I would have to start the chapter again, too good to miss any of it. Also loved the wonderful lady reading the story. Different to much of Stephen's work but so so good. Not one bit disappointed.

Also on board are recently widowed Leo, still reeling from the discovery of his wife’s betrayal just before her death, and Steve, a ship’s officer who’s soon looking for more than a holiday romance with Mia.

Appearances can be deceptive; but the truth is a dangerous thing.... On the night Brian Bishop murdered his wife he was sixty miles away, asleep in bed at the time. At least that's the way it looks to Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, who is called in to investigate the kinky slaying of beautiful socialite, Katie Bishop. Roy Grace soon starts coming to the conclusion that Bishop has performed the apparently impossible feat of being in two places at once.
