Decker by Eden Summers is romantic suspense at its best! I love how the author wrote this book on a web of lies that could destroy. Decker and Kiera are fabulous characters that intrigue. Hunter by Eden Summers first introduced us to Decker, and that made me want his story even more. I love it when an author writes characters that really pull one in, and are fantastic standalone books. Kiera's brother Cole is responsible for her and Decker getting together. The twists in this book are incredible. I did not expect the direction this book took, which added to my enjoyment. D.C. Cole and Laura Jennings both brought the characters to life with their performance. I loved their distinguishable voices for the characters, and how their voices added to the suspense, tension, passion and angst.

Nova Kingsley had a severe case of writer's block. When her friend suggested a trip to the Midwest, the Las Vegas native thought it would be exactly the change of pace she needed. Just a couple of weeks of peaceful, uninterrupted work would get her out of the rut she had found herself in. But that was before she met Colt.

Kelli Walker wrote great characters in Nova and Colt in His Big Log Cabin. I found the imagery in this story to be well done. Having visited Lake of the Ozark's, I could envision so much. Daniel James Lewis is a new narrator to me. His voice is smooth and wonderful. He doesn't have as much character distinction as I prefer, and at times I had to really concentrate to hear who was speaking. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

The Lover's by Irina Shapiro is an incredible listen! I love how the author weaves together two separate stories into one like a tapestry. The imagery is so vivid, the characters are well developed, and there is mystery! History and romance are genre's that so appeal to me. I love the character of Quinn. I have actually listened to other books in this series before starting this one, and can honestly say, each one is a standalone. I found the suspense to be awesome in this book. The narration by Wendy Wolfson really brought the characters to life. She gives them distinguishable voices and has the emotions and expressions to match the author's words. I love it when a narrator enhances a book, and Wendy does that. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

One More Round by Lauren Helms pulled me in immediately. I loved the characters of Gia and Simon in this book. I could understand why she didn't want her friends learning about her brother initially, and then it just seemed too late to bring him up. This story spans a long time, and is a second chance at first love. The concept of being paid to play games or watch television shows boggles my mind, maybe that is the difference between millennial and baby-boomer era people and jobs. Amanda Stribling performed this book flawlessly. She is wonderful at bringing the characters to life with her distinguishable voices for the various characters. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator!

I absolutely loved this book! Sheila Lowe wrote some incredible twists in this book. I had never really thought about sugar skull tattoo's before, nor had I thought much about tattoo artists all having their own signature style designs or work like an actual signature. The descriptions and imagery in the story made it so easy to visualize the details. The relationship between Claudia and Joel was so realistic too. I liked their banter, and how the author injected humor into the story as well. The idea that Claudia could read so much about a person from seeing their signature was fascinating. Without giving away spoilers, I loved the twist at the end. Kudos to the author for that! Donna Allen and Richard Brewer both did a fabulous performance with this book. They brought the characters to life with their voices and the emotions. I love it when I can hear exactly who is speaking, and both were wonderful. This book is a standalone listen and part of the forensic handwriting series. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrators.

Brie is a spoiled rich girl who takes a bet to see if she can get Jesse to propose to her. When she calls off the bet with her jaded girlfriend, she has developed feelings for Jesse. Fast forward, he gets wind of the bet and is devastated. Brie knows that she needs to prove her feelings through actions, and with her new faith, she sets about that. The story is both sweet and clean, plus has many feel good moments. The narration by Sarah Sampino brings the characters to life.
