This is my second audio book in the Vera Stanhope series. I have always watched the tv series. Which just makes Vera real in my mind. This story has held me from the beginning and could not stop myself from listening to it. Right to the second last chapter it twists and turns keeping you guessing. You will never guess. Can not wait until the next one.

This book has been the best ever. Lovely blend of old and new. With a few love stories thrown in too. Looking forward to the next one.

If you could sum up As the Crow Flies in three words, what would they be?

Wasn't sure what to expect about a barrow boy made good. Was taken right to the east end of London, could almost smell the vegetables. This was brilliant from beginning to the end. There was the main story line and then each main character let you see the story from their side. I did not want it to end.

What other book might you compare As the Crow Flies to, and why?

False impression, because it was my last Jeffery Archer listen

Which scene did you most enjoy?

It all

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Both.
