Imagination is something that every parent wants their child to use and foster. Imagination helps us to learn and grow. Kids growing up today in a world of technology often forget how to use their imagination and play. This story is about a little boy called Alex who has an inquisitive imagination and finds himself discovering something magical whilst out playing one day over the summer.

We listened to this following on from Alex's secret adventure but i dont think you need to listen in order. We really enjoyed this story and hearing about more adventures with the little people. It kept my daughters attention on the run to school. A lovely relaxing story that could be listened to at bedtime too due to the calm soothing tones of Ann Twigg. We listened to this on speed 1.5x. Would recommend both of the Alex adventures by Ann Twigg.

We really enjoyed this audio book and was very fitting for the summer time of year. We listened to this story in the car on a longer car journey and it really kept my children's attention (age 6 and 8). The story has some very likable characters and my daughters loved hearing about the little people in it. A very enjoyable listen and we will probably listen to this more than once. Would recommend.

This fantastic story will have children so caught up that their imaginations will work overtime picturing a little boy who is swept away by a huge wave and who finds himself on Robot Island. This audio story is the first in a two-part series written and narrated by Ann Twigg. The inspiration for this story came from her Grandson Tom, who was fascinated by robots. All children love action stories and this tale is brimming with it. When Tom is washed up onto a desert island, he thinks he is alone. However, he soon discovers that robots live on this island.

Another great Ann Twigg book to listen to. My daughter liked that she has a similar name to the main character in this story. This story made her ask questions about the moon and got her to imagine if this would happen to her too. A really nice thoughtful story and aimed nicely at the 5-7 age group. Would listen to this again. Would recommend.

This is a fabulous bumper pack of Ann Twigg stories. Ann twigg has written some lovely stories for children and my daughter often listens to these at bedtime or in the car. Her favourite Ann Twigg story has to be Lea's magic sunflower but we do like grumpy Grandpa's adventures too. This is a great way to listen to the different styles of Ann Twigg and be introduced to some of the characters before going on to listen to others in the collection. This collection is suitable for both boys and girls and up to the age of around 7 years old. Would recommend this bundle and it is great value too.

All parents want their children to learn how to cross the road safely and to become familiar with traffic signals. Red Man and Green Man’s Great Escape is perfect for helping them to learn about crossing the road in a fun and entertaining way. The inspiration for this story came from Ann’s grandson while waiting to cross the road. “Grandma, do the Red and Green Man ever come out of the traffic lights?" He asked. That was it, a flash of inspiration that led to a series of Red Man and Green Man stories for children.

When Red Man and Green Man find themselves in a little park a short distance away from the traffic lights, they begin to feel a little frightened because it’s in total darkness, just like small children might when it begins to go dark. They feel even more scared when they wake up the two squirrels, Berty and Benny, who had gone to sleep for the night up in a big tree. But the squirrels are very friendly and are so pleased to have some new friends to play with in the park.
