I enjoyed this book immensely. Great subject, sympathetically written with a graceful flow. I look forward to reading his other work.

excellent storyline, graphic horror, good characterisation; recommended for those with strong stomach.... or choose another author.

Slow to start, unbelievable story line and an indistinctive narrator. I listened hoping for the best but was ultimately disappointed.

I have read and enjoyed most of her books, yet I couldn't get into this one. Slow, boring and difficult to listen to whiny voice.

Sometimes I can be disappointed by my favourite authors. yet this book surpassed my expectations in every way. The story was intricate, not "thrills a minute", but gripping to the point of resenting interruptions to my listening!
A word for the narrator - Excellent. Great grasp of characters and nuances.

Very disappointed, having read and enjoyed an earlier book by Kevin Brooks.
Slow, ponderous story that the narrator did his best to enliven.

I prefer listening to crime genre. This, however, left me feeling nauseous at times. I almost gave up after the first hour, then the first twist occurred. Later I wanted to give up once more, but the story twisted again.
I have mixed feelings. Audible has not sold this story accurately. While a fascinating read/listen, it is gorily violent at times. Potential listeners should be forewarned. That said, it is a worthy story and well narrated.

I found this a good "listen". Some silliness and not sure I would put the author on my "must have" list. Nevertheless okay distraction!

I use audible to access books that I have not read in the past. Sherez is new to me. I must say that I love his writing as a spoken book. Not sure how reading would go.
I love the central characters and the storyline with hidden undercurrents.
Recommend you try one of these if you like interesting crime novels.
