Goodies and baddies in dramatic scene after scene. A compelling tale written with pacy prose. Excellent.

Tedious in the extreme. Nothing happened and often

A great idea that did not fulfil its promise. Totally incredible. I was suspicious when noting that the book was written by two people (brothers). They would have been better advised to write two books instead of one joint and poor effort.

Great narration, but very poor story.

Thought it would be more "Lee Child", like, sadly it was not. Peter Ash is no Jack Reacher.

Up to Lee Child's usual high standard

Jack Reacher is again a compelling and entertaining character in Blue Moon. Loan sharks, Albanians, Ukrainians, bent entrepreneurs, this book has them all. A rapid read that finished all too soon.

Ken Follett's books are new to me, but I've just been slow to catch up with his writing. 3 titles in and I'm a new fan. Great prose, great stories and great detail. If you like Frederick Forsyth, I think you'll enjoy Mr Follett.

OK, but not his best

ben Elton takes the USA alleged election manipulation by Russia, and applies it to a publicity scam aimed at the England out campaign to remove England from the UK.
Good and inventive story with a great narrative and prose by the author.

I've enjoyed all of Stephen Leather's Spider Shepherd books, except this one. A very pedestrian story with a lot of padding and not a lot of plot.

Very disappointing story, plot and conclusion. The time shift between Irish troubles and Kentish murders not engaging at all.
