The need to downsize often arises at a momentous life change, whether you're an empty nester or retiree selling your family home, a newlywed blending your households, or cleaning out your parents' property after they've moved into assisted living or passed away. I’ve read a number of books on decluttering and downsizing. This book offered me new insight into the items I owned. I was able to let go of items I was keeping for my children that were going to be obsolete due to technology. I listened to this book while I was actually doing a clear out and was able to let go of many items.

How to give the perfect interview, never lose your wallet again, how to convince anyone of anything by using your pet frog and why rewards fail. Most people would like to be more motivated. For years, gurus and ‘life coaches’ have urged people to improve their lives by changing the way they think and behave, but scientific research has revealed that many of their techniques, from visualization to self-affirmation, are ineffective.
