Part autobiography, part self-help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman, part collection of synonyms for nunny, Sarah Millican's debut audiobook delves into her super normal life with daft stories, funny tales and proper advice on how to get past life's blips - like being good at school but not good at friends, the excitement of IBS and how to blossom postdivorce.

This audiobook is one that you won't be able to stop listening to when you get started.
In the first audiobook Deeper than the Dead, you meet your three main characters, Vince, Tony and Anne.
Vince is a FBI agent who has now moved to the area as he has married child advocate and former teacher, Anne. Tony is one of the local detectives that Vince is like a mentor too, as he shows great promise.
You start the story with a murder, that leaves a little girl without her mother. Haley, who is six, witnesses her mother get murdered. It leaves the town, who are already in shock from the the recent murders (focussed on in the last audiobook) in disbelief, that something like this has happened again. The story then continues to focus around the three main characters' personal lives and solving the crime.
The narrator as usual is superb, and reads the story in such a way that you really feel like you are there and that you have a emotional connection with the characters.
Tami Hoag really takes you in with this story, and you really understand each character's point of view of the situation. She creates a town which is not only believeable but you end up truly caring for.
This is a fantastic story, and if you can't sleep or have a long journey to take, this is a delightful way to pass several hours.
