I really cannot keep up with this book, it is extremely boring and not exactly thought provoking. I've watched some seminars done by Jordan Peterson, and I find them to be a bit more interesting. But I do have to say that I am personally not fond of his attitude. It is too in-your-face and 'I am right, you're wrong' kind of attitude that eventually put me off of him and what he had to say.

I like the first 3 chapters, and then after that it gets boring! I couldn't get the point of each chapter because of the long storyline.

We are all storytellers - through stories, we make sense of our lives. But it is not enough to tell tales. There must be someone to listen. In his work as a psychoanalyst, Stephen Grosz has spent the last 25 years uncovering the hidden feelings behind our most baffling behaviour. The Examined Life distils over 50,000 hours of conversation into pure psychological insight, without the jargon. This extraordinary book is about one ordinary process: talking, listening, and understanding.

I love the storyline of each chapter and the different backgrounds of the patients. Kept me wanting to know more and listen throughout!
