Dear mr. Bryson, you wrote an xcellent story. but in my opinion you spoiled it by reading it by yourself. I think it would have been beneficial to leave it to the professionals. A voice of a young boy should have been present in this naration. And story has so many exciting moments, but unfortunately they have been told in a monotone flat pace. I liked the book, applouse to the writer! I did't like the narator, opps..

This Stephen King's novel is not a horror story; rather, it's an extensively researched work of historical fiction ... with a twist. I found the book a delightful blend of history and fantasy. King's eye for period detail is sharp. The story will surprise readers who think of him as a horror scribe. It will make you stay up past bedtime, and it will make you cry. What more can you ask of a book?
