Once again we were kept on our toes by the twists and turns of this story. I love the glimpses of all human emotion as well as the humour which runs through this whole series of books. I feel as if I know Ryan and his team.

I really enjoyed the undercurrent of the relationship slowly developing between Cormoran Strike and Robyn whilst the story progressed. I was kept hanging on until l the very end to pull all the ends together.

I can’t wait for the next one!

Another fantastic book. Once again it keeps your attention whilst depositing nuggets of information about history and archaeology. The descriptions of the landscapes amazing and if you love the area they are written in you can picture it

I have enjoyed the whole Clifton series, with each one wondering if the next could be as good. This one did not disappoint me. It is a powerful, well written story with much humour as well as emotion.

Would you consider the audio edition of Career of Evil to be better than the print version?

I couldn't stop listening to this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I can't wait for the next one! I haven't read the print version but the narration of this book was excellent and meant that I could listen to it in the car on a very long and otherwise boring journey

What other book might you compare Career of Evil to, and why?

Like the one before (The Silkworm), this book keeps you guessing who the killer is, and just when you think you have guessed, something makes you doubt again.

Have you listened to any of Robert Glenister’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I have listened to several of Robert Glenister's other performances and really enjoy listening to him. He is an excellent narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't want to stop - the story is great

Any additional comments?

The writing of this book is superb. You can hear the characters and really imagine them.

This really lets you in to the mind of Christian Grey

This book is fantastic. It really helps you to see why Christian Grey is like he is. Your heart reaches out to the small damaged child.
