A down to earth and honest account of farming life in the Lake District. Well read. Highly recommended.

A great story and Mr Goodman's characterisation makes it all the more enjoyable. Looking forward the reading more of these.

Excellent characterisation by the narrator of a different novel made for an excellent book and now I'll have to read the others in the series.
