If meditation was available in capsule form, it would be the biggest selling drug of all time. It has been scientifically proven to deliver highly effective stress relief, boost our immune systems and dramatically slow the aging process. It has also been shown to make us much happier and more effective thinkers.

Ordered this as really enjoyed meditations at end of Dalai Lama’s cat - also by David Michie. Narrator of this is too fast - too much information all at once and long pauses. Also found repeated info found in later book. Have exchanged this item.

Featuring a delightful cast of characters and timeless Buddhist wisdom, and with His Holiness' compassion pervading every chapter, The Dalai Lama's Cat is simply enchanting. Not so much fly-on-the-wall as cat-on-the-sill, this is the warmhearted tale of a small kitten rescued from the slums of New Delhi who finds herself in a beautiful sanctuary with sweeping views of the snowcapped Himalayas.

The story is charming and a fun intro to Buddhism. The meditation exercises are really useful as they cover a variety of types of meditation and last about 10 mins so are easy to incorporate into your day.
