I already like Sandi Toksvig and knew I would enjoy her writing style. I happen to know the number 12 bus route so I had a personal interest too. Having read other peoples reviews, I can see why some people mentioned the feminist comments, however I think she was just making observations.

The idea was really good but I just couldn't get into the story. It ended up way to sweet and twee for me.

A good free listen!

For some reason I hadn't realised it was a audio-play, rather than a book, but it worked well in the car.

Oooh How I wanted this to be brilliant!!!

Maybe it's my positive mental outlook that blocked its affects, but this book had no effect on me. Paul McKenna has a nice soothing voice to fall asleep to and I tried it for a few weeks. One problem might be that you are supposed to get 2 different messages in each ear but the head phones on my phone can't do that.

Loved it!

Yes I really did love this book. The main character is smooth and the plot has plenty of twists.

This book is quite full on, not just the murders but also the language and writing style. I used to watch Dexter on TV and there is something a bit familiar about that. The cover says American Psycho meets Fleabag. I think this is one of thoses love it or loath it books and I'm not easily offended!!

I only found this book because it was recommended on the You Heard it Here First pod cast. I remember the case of the "Fake heiress" being in the news, so I was happy to get the background story.

This book feels like a fairytale for adults. However it was really well performed so I stayed with it. I think it could have been shorter but in the whole OK!

I am often looking for a new listen and don't know where to start in Audible's vast library. In fact it was one of the things that put me off joining for a while. The format is just a regular pod cast with guests. Personally I liked the section where they go in to the current titles and highlight a book you might not know about.
I do hope in all future pods you will remain honest and not just say nice stuff because that's really not helpful. If possible, could there be a "You heard it here first" section on the open page so I don't have to try to remember the books talked about?

I did enjoy the book and it was well read but the story dragged on in the end. Could’ve been 10 chapters shorter
