When I read the blurb, I was worried I'd get bored as the two main characters don't meet til halfway through... However, I wasn't ever even close to bored, I was gripped! This book contains a balanced cocktail of humour, friendship, and serious themes approached in a sensitive way. I'm sure there were times I laughed, exclaimed, and cheered aloud. The only downside was that it ended!

An incredible journey

An incredible journey. I agree so much with the comment I read before purchasing, of this story being one of a 'warm hug'. Just gorgeous, I found myself completely invested. The only downfall of the book was it coming to an end... I wish it could have kept the same detail and not finished so quickly!

Timeless story and wonderful narration by no other than Stephen Fry. I've been enchanted into these books after seeing the film's and never managing to read through all of them as a child. Listening to them on audible is continuing to be, a great experience.
