This is just a summary of previous research done and I can't help thinking it would have been more interesting listening to a bullet point list! Probably the worst written and read audible book I've ever bought.

Really enjoyed hearing this story told in all its glory. It has lost none of its charm in the modern era.

Yeah, quite good, getting into this series now.

the reader has settled into the role now after a less than convincing start in the series. the accents are still a tad rough, but getting there. glad the daftness has been toned down a bit. enjoyable story and a welcome distraction.

a nice introduction to the subject by way of an autobiographical account of one person's actual experience in exploring the topic. I enjoyed it and will listen again.

ghost writer? tactics employed pure science fiction. seems a far cry from Ryans original books. the narrator did nothing to help this. made the two main characters out to be idiots. not impressed.

Poor recording, egotistic reading

I had to switch this iff in the first two minutes after hearing how Miyamoto Mushashi's legendary book of five rings was described as "Japans answer to American strategy" And i quote exactly!!! Nevermind Mr Brown that this book was written in the 1500's when America was still "Owned" by the natives who roamed the lands. How absolutely egotistic of you, you are one of the reasons that America gets such a bad write up globally. The recording quality is poor and the intonation of the reader is boring. Sorry but this is dire, avoid at all costs.
