I love everything about this story, characters and of course the narrator was amazing, very easy to listen to, which made this even more enjoyable. I just never wanted it to end! I can't wait for Laura's next book to come out on Audio.

I loved this, it's so much better to listen to as you get the humour and a real feel for the characters. Especially when you get the right narrator.. I do love Laura Barnard's books they never fail to make me laugh but listening to them brings them to life. A definite one click!!!

I really did enjoy this. The story was good It was so easy to listen to and follow, I listen through earphones whilst I'm at work, there were a few times when I had to pause it which frustrated me no end, I just wanted to be left to work by myself, with no interruptions. Both narrator's did an .excellent job with this I was captivated from start to finish.

I love Laura Barnard's humour, hers are stories that you can truly relate to and this one, on audio, was wonderful to listen to. The narrator Karena Gregory did an amazing job with this book her voice was very easy to listen to and kept me entertained whilst I worked. There were times I laughed out loud, so it is a very good job I work on my own or I'd have been getting some strange looks.

An Adventurous Proposal is exactly what this story is about. A couple, Florence and Hugh, have both been stood up on a date, so decide to make the most of the night together. They have had about enough of online dating and being stood up. Well after a good night of a lot of talking and enjoying each others company, they go their separate ways. However, Hugh comes back with an Adventurous Proposal! These characters are great and so easy to relate to.

I would definitely recommend this Audio version of a brilliant story.

Wow! What a listen this was. A real eye opener. Foxy has narrated his story fantastically and at times my heart actually hurt for him and it made me think about every other man/woman that has been effected by ptsd, including the family and friends, it's not easy to go through but with the RIGHT help it can get easier.
I really can't recommend this book
/listen enough.

I love this series so when I found out it was on Audio it was a definite one click! I already knew this story as I have read it more than once. However listening to it was like reading it for the first time again but better! I got a lot more feels listening to it I think.
The narrator's have done a great job and I feel really matched how I imagined the characters to sound. If you have read this book then listening to it will give you a different experience, one I definitely recommend.

I loved this from start to finish, it was such a moving story and I have never read/listened to one like it. It was so very easy to listen to. I'm very fussy when it comes to my Audio books, but when I listened to a few sentences of the sample I purchased straight away.
The narrator's voices were captivating and were perfect for the characters and story. This will stay with me for a long time to come .

Excess Baggage is a great book, but I will say it's even better to listen to. Penny Scott-Andrews was the perfect narrator for this, although I found her voice a little baby-ish at times, I think it was just right for Erica's character.

This a great second chance romance, with lots of humour. Its a good job I work by myself as I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times.

If you like a light read or listen and a bit of humour I highly recommend this Audio.
