I was just so bored by this. the plot is thin. the characters have no debth and the story is tailored at the 15 year old reader - even then I would say it is a waste of money. The book is only 5 hours as opposed to the usual 12 hours listening. A waste of money and energy

Its interesting, just not quite good enough.

The actual story has a lot of potential, quite unique for this genre, but it's lacking in writing skill somewhat. So I keep listening to the series because the basis for it is a great one. But I find it easy to drift off when listening and have yo rewind some parts. And some of the dialogue is truly terrible.

I have the two books before this as performed by another narrator. I'm finding it tough to adjust to the new voices. I find the voice to be a bit flat.

really loved this book but it left more questions. the finale was a clouded in vagueness, what exactly happened. I thought the love beteeen the two heroes could have been explored: what about Darla, bitch supreme?

A major mistake to list the series book 2 as nbr 1

A really excellent audio but the publishers scored a damning own goal because they did not tell the reader that this was BOOK TWO so the the suspense was entirely lost because readers were listening to the end! Very, Very annoying. And then book two (I perserverd) was a total let down because I realised the frustration I felt at book 2 was entirely preventable!.
But I loved the voice of Lucian, sexy as hell but not the voice of Magadlene in book 2 - it lacked soul.
Overall because of the confusion this was not an enjoyable series, way too much work for listeners struggling to work out who was who and back stories eg Grandmother, Tabitha. Lots of interesting stories just ignored.
DISAPPOINTED.

I found it hard to listen to the narrator's Chosen voice, it was just too dull. The story line is great but the narration turned a galloping story into a yawn exoerience.

I was totally surprised at the excitement of this book. I think the heroine is a bit of a wose. whats going to happen bwtween her and Nick? and to leave he dad lying in a coma is unfair to listeners. The narrator is excellent!

I teally enjoyed this book more so than the previous one. but why did the wolf have to die? the heroine seems to be a bit feckless. I do not like the male narrator's voice, it is taking ages to get into his rythem but I hope the next book is better.

Errrr why do the French characters all sound German?? Not to mention Bones' horrid English accent. It's tough coz aside from the terrible accents, I really like the narrator!
