I bought this audio book based on one single review. I was excited as sounded really promising, only to find the narration was so lack lustre that I struggled to engage with it, and the content was vague and nothing really new. very disappointing. Each chapter ends with a silly and repetitive list of achievements of the author, as if the book wasn't tedious enough as it was.

Experience has taught me that books narrated by the author are much more engaging and of value, and I'll stick with them in future.

I wish I could have written a better review, I'm usually really positive but this book is a waste of time and money in my opinion.

I love Mike Dooly. I listen to all his books and for me he is the most real, humble, relatable and helpful authors I have come across.

This audio, I believe, will give me all that I need to create the life I aspire to, while creating happiness now. Thank you Mike.

like so many gurus, I find their tips and advice so exhausting just thinking about it. it's good stuff but not very relatable unless you are already pretty powered up and just looking for some fine tuning and improvements. as someone who feels a little lost and in a muddle, but with a desire to get better, I found this of little value.

I have listened to many, many self help audios, read many books and learned a lot. My experience of books by women are they are too soft and floaty and I struggle to relate. However, this lady is amazing. Totally to the point, feisty, funny and most of all manages to blend a go getting, no nonsense attitude with a spiritual approach to life and using the law of Attraction.

It's all about clarity, going after what you want, being truthful with yourself and acting with integrity. Making changes we know we need to make and with Bad Ass attitude. Loved it. Oh and loving yourself and your life. I am going straight into my second listening now, this time with pen ready to list out my action points.

it is hard to put into words what this book is about and how it will effect those who listen.

A powerful message within a wonderful story and adventure. I couldn't stop listening and shall listen again.

A very different kind of personal development book, and read beautifully by the narrator. I thoroughly recommend it.

I found this book very repetitive of his previous books but with a few new tools added which are variations of other techniques

however, as I have not yet manifested what I want, I realise I still have a lot to learn and so hearing this info again is needed.

I'm glad I got this book as it reinforced the importance of commitment and using a Law of Attraction plan daily.

Would you listen to I Know What to Do, So Why Don't I Do It? again? Why?

Yes, in fact I am only a third the way through but am so inspired I wanted to review it now as I feel this is the best spent credit I have ever used. I read the reviews before I bought it, and so knew I was taking a gamble, but my gut told me this is what i was looking for.

I can only say that, if you have had one or more major setback in life, you know you can be more than you are, you have listened to and read endless motivation, success and other personal development books but you still aren't doing what you want to do and know you can, then definitely take a chance on this.

Some reviewed it as too scientific, I can only say it is scientific enough to know why these methods and understanding work but no more.

Some said it was repetitive, well hearing the same thing over and over reinforces its meaning and you will remember more as a result.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I Know What to Do, So Why Don't I Do It??

Understanding that my apparent current failure and endless procrastination is not only understandable and I am not alone BUT there are strategies to change it other than my current method of forcing motivation by setting goals and making myself feel guilty.

Totally liberating!

What does Nick Hall bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Some said it was 'just as series of lectures pieced together' - well, yes, and...your point is? Listening to Nick Hall presenting live with meaning to a live audience brings the whole thing to life, rather than a wooden narrator just reading words.

I've never heard him before, but Nick Hall is funny, dry, fascinating and clearly very clever and he puts his information across well in a very engaging form.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!!! Can't put it down, carrying my tablet with me all day so I can keep listening

10 hours is a long audiobook and if I could I'd take a day off and just listen!

Any additional comments?

Please ignore the other reviews saying this is not what the title says. It is exactly what the title says. I can only think that the people who wrote negative reviews were looking for something else, a quick fix and a motivational pep talk maybe.
This book will give you the tools and understanding you need to change your own way of thinking, patterns and approach to success.

Would you listen to One Small Step Can Change Your Life again? Why?

Absolutely, this is the book I have been looking for. How to get yourself our of a rutt and back onto the successful track once more

What other book might you compare One Small Step Can Change Your Life to, and why?

None, it's unique

Have you listened to any of Robert Maurer’s other performances? How does this one compare?

No

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Relief, at last I've found the tool I need to turn my life back around.

Any additional comments?

I listen to many many self help and personal development books, I am inspired and motivated and believe in myself, but i keep on putting it off. why? Fear? I've dealt with my fears.

This book teaches you to bypass the block and change your life. Loved it!
