This compelling, centuries-spanning novel brilliantly interweaves the lives of two women – a writer working in the heart of modern academia and a daring young Sioux Indian on an incredible journey in the 18th century. The result is an unforgettable story of courage in the face of the unknown.

I got so involved in this story, again loved the narrators voice, but it was such a moving story and loved the way the past characters, helped bring the present characters together.

I loved listening to this book. I've read lots of Danielle Steel books but listening to them was even better. The guy has a great voice which make it even better. Bring on more.
