'True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are.' Social scientist Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame and empathy. In Braving the Wilderness, Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarisation.

Brene is my favourite author of all probably because she of very few authors continues to live all her work. Vulnerability, courage, braving, wildernesses. I relate to your experiences Brene because I have lived them for 10 years, I am still learning but know like you Brene, my place is in the wilderness and not fitting in.

In business, the right behaviors matter. But getting it right is tricky. Even when we acknowledge the need to change what we do and how we do it, life has a habit of getting in the way, upsetting even the best-laid plans. And just how do we manage those situations that can provoke even the most rational among us into behaving in ways we would rather forget?

Story
Top down, one-dimensional leadership models are hopelessly outmoded in today's rapidly-changing world. And they waste the leadership ability that is present throughout an organization, not just at the top. In this visionary audiobook, Karen and Henry Kimsey-House provide a model that harnesses the possibility of many rather than relying on the power of one. They begin with a new definition of leadership itself: "Leaders are those who are responsible for their world."

Story
The Code of the Extraordinary Mind is a blueprint of laws to break us free from the shackles of ordinary life. It makes a case that everything we know about the world is mostly decided not by rational choice but instead by conditioning and habit. And thus most people live their lives based on limiting rules and outdated beliefs about pretty much everything - love, work, money, parenting, sex, health, and more - that they inherit and pass on from generation to generation.

Our future is written by hopes, fears, dreams, expectations, and decisions made about life. In the same way, organizations have futures written by history, circumstances, culture, aspirations, successes, and failures. These already-written futures determine and shape the level of performance that's possible for individuals and organizations. Authors Steve Zaffron and Dave Logan crack the code on rewriting the future for people and organizations, elevating performance to unprecedented levels.

Can you have it all? I believe that smart, successful women can have both a great career and a rich, warm, fulfilling love life. See - smart women like yourself were having unfulfilling love lives on an epidemic scale when I was an advisor at Harvard. They either couldn't find the right guy, were with the wrong guy, had relationships that didn't last, or had given up on dating entirely. So I wrote this book to remedy the situation. This is not your grandma's dating guide.

This actually wasn't really a dating book it was more about personal self awareness and how to maximise your skills and relationships and ultimately self fulfilment (not primarily based on "getting a guy"!)
