Narration fits well with the heroine of these books.

Enjoyed learning about the dragons and the growing politics of this world.

Looking forward to the next box set to continue the story.

Check out the narration to see if this narrator is for you.

I found this book had really good bits and some badly written bits which distracted from the story, which was good.

The narrator did not suit this book in my opinion. Not being able to read but only listen, I dont know whether the problem was the narration or the writing.

Really enjoyed this retelling of Beauty and Beast and its Steampunk twist. The narration suited.

I definitely have confidence in buying other books by Melanie Karsak as this one was well written and her imagination is fantastic.

Narration was lovely

The story hooked me from the beginning and it was a shame it wasnt a full book. I am hoping in the future there will be more adventures with much more use of the special properties of the foods.

was worried it would have a lot of description of cakes but it wasnt too bad.

loved the characters and the twists and turns of the story.

a decent length book for Audible, nicely read. A stand alone book but a further book about her life is quite possible.

I will definitely check out more of her writings.

I enjoyed listening to this first part of a triology.

I like the characters but the narration did start off a bit breathlessly for my liking. I prefer more that the book is read rather than acted.

I look forward to seeing where this story goes

I loved the story but felt the narration was a bit too dramatic at times for me.

Great start to the series as Ezaara learns the rules of her new life and finds out about her teacher.

The length of the book was just right and being of a good length makes it a worthwhile buy.

This has been a great series of books and if you have just clicked on this one, yes it is worth getting all 8 books.

All books make up one story, none of the books are standalone, but it is a rollercoaster of a story.

Narration is spot on for this sort of story, loved it.

I love finding out facts about a place I know little about while being swept up in the tale.

It looses one star for me, as it's a short listen, if it wasnt so good (her other books are great) I would not of chosen to use a credit.
