Where does Royal Assassin rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is about on par with book 1

What other book might you compare Royal Assassin to, and why?

It's a bit like the name of the wind but not quite up there. The start is too slow, although that leaves room for more development.

Old-school space opera

What did you like best about this story?

The scale of things feel bigger, more important. And some awesome new ideas are introduced as the story's universe expands. And as always, new lovable characters.

Funny, creative, addictive

Would you listen to Caliban's War again? Why?

If you enjoyed exploring the universe from the first book, this is an excellent continuation. The plot is less brilliant than the first book but still pretty great.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it just flows really really well.
