.....almost as much as I love Emma Kennedy! My favourite audiobook of all time is 'The tent, the bucket and me' which I have listened to on numerous occasions over the years so I was a bit wary of listening to a novel by Emma but I loved it! I loved the characters and Emma's ability to voice the different characters with such individuality and dry wit makes listening to her such a joy, its a bitter sweet story with a happily satisfying conclusion and I can't wait for Emma's next book because I feel a bit lost now that I've finished it, amazing audiobook, can't recommend it enough.

Love all Mhairi McFarlane books but this one is my favourite, it's hilarious and Julie Hesmondhalghs great narration makes the funny bits even funnier, out of over 250 audio books I've listened to this is one of my stand out favs thanks to Mhairi's quick wit style writing and Julie's great dry humour narration. amazing work girls.

I loved this book, read quite a few of Jane Fallons books and this is her best so far. If you like a good bitchfest revenge story then this is for you.

Overall quite a good story, it was a bit all over the place with too many main characters which made it slightly confusing in places and the ending was a let down, nothing was resolved and it leaves you with a 'is that it' and feeling very disappointed, maybe it's just me but I like a conclusion to my stories.

The very unfulfilling ending ruined the whole story. Made the book seem pointless and unresolved.

I have never disliked a main character as much as Genavive and was relieved when the book finally ended. She was a petulant, arrogant and extremely annoying, I found the story line very weak as well which was disappointing as I really enjoyed into the darkest corner.
