You don't necessarily expect a maths/computing professor to read so well, but Hannah's performance is brilliant. It is clear, has a good tone and adds personality and really makes the book tick.

The book explains a broad array of aspects relating to algorithms. Hannah explains the concepts really well using real world examples. Very clearly done and well executed!

Well read and good story

It's a good follow up to the big short, however it is maybe a bit more technical, but still well explained. The performance was strong and helped bring the characters to life.

Fantastic journalism and very well read.

Have watched the film and this follows fairly closely but goes into a lot more depth on the financial background. However it remains light and easy to listen to which is aided by the voice artist's great performance.

Not as strong as the first two books.

You get used to the performance, still not my favourite though, strange pronunciation of vowels and indistinct, inconsistent accents.

I feel like the story loses its way in the second half. It's almost the polor opposite of the start of the trilogy, which was all about the world and the day to day goings on of Fitz, however by the end of this book it feels like it's very magic heavy and almost dull at times with the lack of activity. There's also the frustrating feeling that Fitz can do just as much magic as is required at any given moment as the plot requires it.

Great sequel, performance distracting at times.

Narrator had a frustrating habit of pronouncing 'o' as 'aw'. Some dodgy accents, but not too bad overall. Did female voices well for a male. Took some getting used to, but by the end didn't mind too much.

Some accents weren't what I would have chosen, but very consistent, even across books in the series. The timing and tone are superb, if it says the character is crying then they'll be crying. Really sets the tone.

The story is fantastic, probably the best book of what is a truly amazing story.

Well read and story is unbeatable.

Narrator was good, got the tone perfect and never took you out of the moment.
