Story
We fell in love on a beach, got married in paradise, and rode off into the sunset. It should have been perfect, but saying "I do" doesn't guarantee a happily ever after. Two years later, I barely recognize either of us behind the walls we've built. It's time to bring it full circle. Back to a tropical paradise. Back to find out if we can still make this work. I'm not willing to give her up, but to save us, I have to risk everything.

For centuries, the extremely powerful and ruthless vampire witches of the European Council have wandered the Earth, controlling governments, fostering war, creating political conflict, and often leaving absolute destruction in their wake. One of the strongest of them is set to create some havoc in the city of New Orleans, and it's definitely personal.

I have loved all of these books, and adore the dialogue between Jane and the other characters in the series. I have noticed that Beast does not feature as prominently in the last couple of books and I miss her!!!! There is an increasing amount of complicated history and I found myself skating through these parts. Having said that I will continue to look forward to and buy the next installments.......

What didn’t you like about Justine Eyre’s performance?
The book is about welsh folklore and has very strong ties to wales - a lot of Welsh words which I appreciate are hard to pronounce but there whole dialogue is done in a very bad Irish accent! Not impressed

Brilliant end to a brilliant series
Reviewed: 24-02-14
What made the experience of listening to Up from the Grave the most enjoyable?
I have loved all of this series and I was wondering how she would draw it to an end without killing anyone off. I have read some reviews on Amazon and they were not that favourable but I loved this book right from the start!! Usual snappy dialogue and laugh out loud moments. Lots of highs and lows - a true roller coaster of a book
What was one of the most memorable moments of Up from the Grave?
Plot spoiler here but when Bones was killed I was gutted - couldn't quite see how they would manage to get him to come back BUT then I remembered an earlier book.......
What about Tavia Gilbert’s performance did you like?
I love the fact that you know who is talking by the accent she uses. At the beginning Bones' accent slipped a bit but she was soon back into the swing of things. She puts so much feeling into the reading that it makes a good book even easier to read.

This is the fifth book in the Jane Yellowrock series and the series just keeps getting better. Right up until the last few minutes I am waiting for another twist and I wasnt disappointed! Ms Hunters characters are changing and evolving with everything that is going on, relationships change and new characters are introduced. The story line is gripping and there is a rollercoaster of emotion throughout this book. With the current trend in series of books rather than one offs, this series stands out - getting more exciting and involved as it progresses - cannot wait for the next one which is hopefully out in April.
