Amazing the amount of stories all brilliantly described and catalogued fantastic value for money. Each story came to life from Three Musketeers to Oliver Twist. Our favourite was Gulliver's Travels.

Would you listen to Twelve Years a Slave again? Why?

An amazing book that makes you realise how fortunate in life you are and not to take things for granted. The book is of course much better than the film!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Twelve Years a Slave?

Patsy's beating for such a trivial matter

Have you listened to any of Hugh Quarshie’s other performances? How does this one compare?

First time

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to it going to bed and listened to it several times. It's a very emotional subject.

Steptoe & Son: Vol 4: Cuckoo In the Nest

Overall

Volume 1 & 2 are brilliant but 3 & 4 struggles with the humour. You are sometimes left mid air wandering what is comimg next. Still funny but not as side splitting as the first two volumes.

Ricky Gervais Show: The Complete First Season

Overall
5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 02-11-07

Ricky Gervais and friends are absolutely brilliant! His humour is so basic but right on the button. Anything from their hairstyles to air travel is mentioned and made so funny using Karl Pilkington's ignorance of various topics. It's as if Karl has come from another planet(Planet Zog). Amazing the man is a genius!

I had bought the book ages ago and never managed to read it so to listen to it was ideal, however, the reader was a bit flat and he did not make it seem particularly interesting. Rather monotone!

The Day Of The Triffids

Overall
5 out of 5 stars

Even at the end you wanted more. It is a thrilling story about the triffids and completely different from the film of the same name. At times you are on the edge of your chair and want to fast forward but can't because you will miss vital parts of the story!! Fantastic read.

Fantastic story of a young boy and a butlers travel to find great wealth in the gold mines of California. Very funny in places and no matter what the butler always wins the day. He is a fantastic character and so believable.

Easy to listen to and each of the characters totally believable that you could feel them coming out from the depths of the ipod. It brings David Copperfields whole life to life and brilliantly
