Not at good as the hype and build up to this book. I felt that the ending was a bit predictable and flat.
Narrator was very good and I enjoyed listening to her voice on my way to and from work.

Decided that I would have a story on my hour long drive into work and home again. This book is wonderfully told and beutifully written (some nights I even stayed in the car to listen just a little bit longer!)
The characters are real and you feel what they are doing right up to the last page.

He emerged five years later knowing which stars have fake boobs, which stars have toupees, which have both, and not much else. This realization led Jacobs on a life-changing quest: to read the entire contents of the Encyclopedia Britannica, all 33,000 pages, all 44 million words.

A really enjoyable listen, thankyou.

A story of prejudice and acceptance, funny lists and silly words, this new audiobook has all the hallmarks of David’s previous best sellers. Our hero Ben is bored beyond belief after he is made to stay at his grandma’s house. She’s the boringest grandma ever: all she wants to do is to play Scrabble, and eat cabbage soup. But there are two things Ben doesn’t know about his grandma.
