The actual story itself is good - it was a very interesting take on a mystery.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narrator - he is awful. My children have listened to and adored all the Percy Jackson series and the Kane Chronicles but didn't get to the end of this book. Very disappointing.

Would you be willing to try another one of Christopher Guetig’s performances?

Never.

Was Magnus Chase and the Sword of Summer worth the listening time?

Sadly no.

Any additional comments?

Don't bother!

They travel for many days in their covered wagon until they find the best spot to build their little house on the prairie. Soon they are planting and plowing, hunting wild ducks and turkeys, and gathering grass for their cows. Sometimes pioneer life is hard, but Laura and her folks are always busy and happy in their new little house.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Little House on the Prairie?

The fiddle playing is just gorgeous and really adds to the audio book.

Which character – as performed by Cherry Jones – was your favourite?

I don't have a favourite - she has a beautiful voice which is lovely to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

We are so happy these audio books have finally come to Audible as the cds were difficult to get hold of and could be quite pricey. They are such lovely versions of these stories which we have all enjoyed listening to. Can't recommend highly enough :D

Percy Jackson has had a quiet year. Not a single monster has set foot in his New York school. But when a game of dodgeball turns into a death match against an ugly gang of cannibal giants, things get . . . well, ugly.
