This story brings home the true horror of war. The mixing of fact and fiction and the skill of the narrator is compelling. This book should be listened to or read by everyone.

Just wish there could be more of Bill and Holly. Maybe Holly can hook up with another character.
The narrator is great.

The slow build up was a problem but so pleased I stuck with it. The Nordic names were a bit confusing, however the change from past to present was so well done. Narration was great and there was a satifactory end to the story.

An atmospheric tale made more so by the sound effects and the narrator's voice. The build up to a chilling ending made this a 'page turner'. An excellent short story.
