The story was very weak in my opinion, I stuck it out till the end. Being from Yorkshire myself I found the narrator's accents torturous to listen to.

Enjoyable story light and heart warming. A nostalgic look at the lives, events, scandals and secrets of those who behind the scenes keep the Buckingham Hotel running smoothly, the glamourous dancers and the VIP guests. All this is set in 1930s London in a world facing great change in all levels of society. Looking forward to the next book! I also enjoyed the narration.

Great story spoilt by the narration very difficult to listen to. Women's voices sound ridiculous would not purchase any more books with narration by Napolean Ryan
