James Hetfield, with whom many years ago Mustaine founded a band known as Metallica, once observed, with some incredulity, that Mustaine must have been born with a horseshoe up his ass. That's how lucky he's been, how fortunate he is to be pulling breath after so many close calls. And Hetfield is right. Mustaine has been lucky. He has been blessed. But here's the thing about having a horseshoe lodged in your rectum: It also hurts like hell. And you never forget it's there.

What if you could go back in time and change the course of history?11.22.63, the date that Kennedy was shot - unless.... King takes his protagonist Jake Epping, a high school English teacher from Lisbon Falls, Maine, 2011, on a fascinating journey back to 1958 - from a world of mobile phones and iPods to a new world of Elvis and JFK, of Plymouth Fury cars and Lindy Hopping, of a troubled loner named Lee Harvey Oswald and a beautiful high school librarian named Sadie Dunhill who becomes the love of Jake's life.

The complete, unabridged audiobook of A Game of Thrones. HBO’s hit series A Game of Thrones is based on George R. R. Martin’s internationally best-selling series A Song of Ice and Fire, the greatest fantasy epic of the modern age. A Game of Thrones is the first volume in the series. Summers span decades. Winter can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.

Narration kerfuffle

As a lot of the other reviews have mentioned, the voice of tyrion changing from yorkshire (which is confusing in the beginning as the northern people in the show have yorkshire accents ) suddenly changes to south walian. Vares sound like hes got a mouth full of water and spitting all over the place. Petyr baylish is pronounced per tyre! The narrator has a lovely voice but i think with the huge amount of characters you need more than one narrator. I think these books are too good to just settle for on ok narration.

Cassie Forrest isn't surprised to learn that the day she’s decided to get her life together is also the day the world ends. After all, she’s been on a self-imposed losing streak since her survivalist parents died: she’s stopped painting, broken off her engagement to Adrian and dated a real jerk. Rectifying her mistakes has to wait, however, because Cassie and her friends have just enough time to escape Brooklyn for her parents’ cabin before Bornavirus LX turns them into zombies, too.

These books were addictive but I'm really annoyed that someone in the zombie apocalypse has a better love life than me X D Seriously though I find the jumping from one man to the next a bit distracting. Sometimes it can seem a bit like a y.a novel and the biggest problem Cassie has is all these men wanting to bed her. It hasn't stopped me listening to all the novels but I ts hard to write a review without spoilers.
