A young woman, struggling on crutches. He offers her a steadying arm. And turns to see a handgun aimed at his stomach. Chained in a dark van racing across America, Reacher doesn't know why they've been kidnapped. The woman claims to be FBI. She's certainly tough enough.

This is the first of Simon Kernick's books I have listened to - what a find! I had read other reviews and liked the sound of it. It is fast paced, and a little unusual, if you like a thriller, but with the main characters rather understated, then this is for you. There were also a few times where I had to laugh out loud.
