There are a lot of big ideas in this book that I found helpful. I skipped back a number of times to grasp the concepts and details. I have already applied a couple of approaches to completing papers and I was encouraged by how satisfying the process felt. This is a book I will revisit over the coming months. I found the practical suggestions illuminating and particularly helpful, as I enjoy detailed descriptions. As a procrastinator and someone who is prone to encountering frequent interruptions when I try to work, I have gained insightful advice on how to manage both more effectively, and without guilt 🙄😊

Struggled to stay interested. Feel mean saying it but didn't like the author and was difficult to sympathise. He came across as very selfish and self absorbed. Title is a bit misleading.

Wasn't sure at the start but glad I persevered. Quirky, interesting and scary while being humorous at times.

Great listen.

A very worthy listen. Honest and filled with anecdotes and insights. Very positive. No fist pumping victory type writing. A real account and very humbling.

Raw, intelligent and very well delivered.

A great, if at times uncomfortable listen. Not full of heroics or prop caricatures. Straightforward and direct. Recommended.

I had heard the abridged version of this on BBCR4. I couldn't wait to hear the full version here. Audible's version is such a disappointment. The narrator's voice is not for me and I gave up after a short listen. He sounds like a newsreader. A very cold reading. Very disappointed.
