A free copy of the audiobook was given to me in exchange for an honest review!!!

This is a beautiful story of a second chance of first love. At the same time, it looks into addiction, drunk driving and infidelity without telling all the warnings. Instead, you get a real life story with all its consequences but not told with a lot of drama - it's told in a very calm and clear way focusing on the second chance of the first love of Sara and Max.

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook even though I sometimes had I a hard time listening to the male voice of Max's friend. But since the story was a very cute and romantic story I decided to enjoy the story anyway. And I really did! I can highly recommend this audiobook for everyone who wanna enjoy a sweet, heartwarming and romantic story that involves teenage daughters, their mother and the mothers long lost love!

The romance - suspense story was okay, but the narration almost destroyed the book. Unfortunately, it's rather difficult to understand the story well when the narrator often speaks with a woman's voice when it's a man and sometimes the other way around too. It made it quite difficult to enjoy the story.
It doesn't end in a cliffhanger, but the story continues in book 2, so you have to read/listen to both books to get a (happy?) ending on the love story.

Bought this book for a credit to get the end of the story between Rafe and Ari. But this one ends on another cliffhanger- with two more books to go before this series ends I have decided to return this book (the first book to be returned for ages!) and don't finish this series. The story between Rafe and Ari is definitely not able to be stretched through 4 books. And no way I will pay two more credits to get an ending between Rafe and Ari!!
I normally love and prefer series but certainly not this series- I feel kind of robbed having to pay for four books to get an ending. Their love story isn't strong enough or interesting enough for a four books series

Yet he's lost his drive to win cases and finds himself hopping on a plane to visit his brother at Last Frontier Lodge in Alaska. Delia Peters is a single mother who learned the hard way that lust often doesn't translate to love. She figures life is good enough if she can pay the bills. This is the second book in this series and I really love this series. It is very well written and I especially love the description of the Alaska landscape. It really makes you wanna visit Alaska yourself. The series grows every time we learn more about another member of the Hamilton family. This time the story is about Garrett Hamilton, a lawyer from Seattle and Delia Peters, a single mom from Alaska. They have to trust each other enough to take a chance in love despite living in two different states and Delia having a child to take care of.
As book one and tree I really love this book. It contains beautiful descriptions of the Alaska landscape, nice and respectful main characters, the right amount of steamy love and sex. I'm looking forward to being able to listen to the rest of this series on audiobook!

The narration is very good so I really enjoyed the audiobook edition

It's impossible not to fall in love with the main characters in Tammy Falkners series about the Reed Brothers. Every time I start a new audiobook I start with the thought: This time the main characters cannot be as gorgeous as the main characters in the last book but every time I'm wrong. I like this series contains main characters with different kind of disabilities. This time it's about Lark with deep scars both physical and emotional and Ryan born deaf and lived with parents and friends deaf too. Will Lark be able to fit into this deaf culture and can she trust Ryan with her scars - scars she shows no one else?
I truly love the Reed Brothers and their male friends. They are gentlemen and so kind and respectful. The females are strong and very lovingly. Their friendship and love are remarkable and it makes me feeling great when I listen to this series. I love the series is with different kind of disabilities and the life living with the disabilities but without it being a big problem.

This book is funny, enjoyable and well-written. So funny that I was laughing out loud several times while listening to the audiobook.
It's a kind of chick lit written by a man and the main character is the autistic man Don. Don wants a wife so he writes himself a list with all the requirements for the perfect wife - the wife project. But he gets sidetracked by the father project by the woman named Rossie.
It's so amazing to read how an autistic mind function and it certainly made me laugh several times. So plz do yourself a favor and listen to this audiobook

I never listen to an audiobook from this author before I received audiobook 3 in this series from the author herself. Because of that book, I decided to start this series from the beginning and that's the reason why I now write this :)
I really do like this contemporary romance series from J. H. Croix. First of because the story feels real - like stories without fantastic heroes and an unrealistic storyline. It contains great alpha males and sweet women, a lot of hot and steamy sex and in this one, you even find a bad guy. You also find two people who, despite not feeling sure about needing or wanting love, never let the love for each other go. The fight in this series is the inside fight in the main characters about accepting love finding them even when they weren't looking - but when sparkles fly they have to give in!
I love J.H. Croix descriptions of Alaska - actually so much that I really wanna visit Alaska myself even though I'm definitely more of a "sun-girl". The descriptions of the nature, people and the connections between people are so well written that you're almost able to watch the scenes in front of you while you listen to the narrator.
The narrator is well chosen for this series, and I'm so glad to see Hollis McCarthy has been narrating all 3 audiobooks in this series, and I cross my fingers she will be chosen as the narrator for the rest of the books in the series!

****I received a free copy of this audiobook and voluntarily chose to review it. *****
When I started this listening to this book as an audiobook I wasn't aware that it was the third book in a series. But it didn't disturb the listening at all - the book can be read as a stand-alone, but I'm sure most series are best if you read all the books in the series in the right order ;)
This book is a very sweet book about a woman distrusting love after a terrible break up (her fiance was messing around with her bridesmaid a few days before the wedding). Lucky for her she gets help from a friend of her brother when she gets involved in a car accident. He has always known she was the one but in respect of her brother he never pursued her - until now!
And then the story of love between Aidan and Becca begins. Becca fighting the urge to trust in love again even though Aidan is SO nice and understanding to her all the time despite him having troubles about the relationship - being disloyal to his friend/her brother and never has been in a relationship himself.
I really enjoyed this love story - it was kind of safe (in the best way) and sweet. You get to know the two main characters very well and understands their distress about their feelings for each other while wanting/not wanting a relationship. The story feels real opposite to the other love story I listen to prior to this book - where one tragedy hit after the other. It was way too much - no one would be able to survive that much loss. And was SO great listening to a love story wich could be a real love story not just a made-up story with way too much drama. The drama in this book is the fight inside Becca and Aiden whether to choose to trust in love or not. And the journey to trusting each other was really enjoying! I will definitely listen to the rest of the audiobooks in this series - starting with book number one this time :)

Would you listen to Where the Road Takes Me again? Why?

Yes the story was great, but as I wrote in my headline it contains way too many tragedies to be a realistic story

Any additional comments?

A really great story, but it not a believable story because how many tragedies can one person survive? At least a few of the tragedies in the story shouldn't have been in this book since it's way too many deaths to overcome for one person. It makes it into a Not Believable story. Cut half of the death out and it would be a more believable story to relate to. As I wrote earlier I will definitely listen to this book again, but it will never be one of my favorite books
