A modern murder mystery, finished it, but didn't actually care about any of the characters. cannot put my finger exactly why I found it such a struggle. If it had been in book form, it would have been in the bin.

Not a modern set of stories, but has a charm, to many risks going on , so some parts too unbelievable, which rather distracts from over all story.

Every character was dull, no one to like, no ones side to be on. No humour, all voices flat and no intonation. Listened all the way through hoping it would engage me. Didn't happen.

I adore mystery, murder, archeology and unrequited love. Has humour, good mix of characters and the reader is excellent.

Old fashioned who dunnit, that is not so convoluted that you cannot work out who! I Enjoyed the light heartedness, the orators voice is perfect for this story.

The story is hours long, only because it is dragged out, by mind numbing immaterial waffle. She repeats the same facts so many you will start screaming at the story 'get on with it! she tells you the name of every road walked and every temple every time passed, but not just once. The characters are characterless. Albia is an unlikeable arrogant, opinionated bore. who other than her husband has nothing nice, kind, or positive to say about anyone. she loves looking down her nose at people and criticising everything. At least 80% is filler and the story uninteresting. You truly don't give a damn who killed who.. You'd never believe that this boring tripe came from the woman.who wrote the fabulous Falco books. My suggestion is retire before you reputation is completely sullied.

There is no character you can like or empathise with, actual should say they are all character less. a dull story with dull people and story so drawn out you truly couldn't give a damn who did what to whom. You're wondering why I kept listening aren't you well truth to tell couldn't believe anything could be this bad and be published, so trudged on over several weeks, as couldn't listen for more than 30 minutes at a time as it was so tooth grindingly irritatingly monotonous.
