Yet again a book that you had to just keep listening to. Our author manages to keep as glued to the storyline and I cannot wait to listen to the next one in the series.

Jay Crownover has yet again managed to bring a fictitious city alive. The characters are all intertwined within the series but you can also read each book stand alone.

The second book in the Marked Men series from Jay Crownover. It's what's on the inside that counts.... Doesn't every good girl want to tame the bad boy? Ayden Cross is a good Southern girl from the tips of her cowboy boots to the depths of her country-music soul. With a troubled childhood behind her, all she wants is a life laid out on the straight and narrow--and a bad boy like Jet is definitely not in the plan. So what happens when the bad boy picks you?

Sometimes opposites don't just attract--they catch fire and burn the city down. Is it true that you can't always get what you want? Shaw Landon is a good girl from a nice family. She knows what she should want: top grades and then a steady job and, someday, a nice guy to take home to her parents. She also knows what she shouldn't want…but it's hard to stay away from a guy like Rule.
