good storyline start up. then it just unravels into a ridiculous carry on style farce.
the idea that 7 people could be murdered in exact same circumstances in multiple countries and even when police are made aware nothing comes of any investigation..

none of the characters are particularly likeable, there is no back story of such or motive. the fact that a normal everyday person can witness 3 dead bodies of close friends and just remain normal is fantastical.

the twist was so predictable I was just waiting for the end to put the whole disappointing story to bed..

if you are a fan of magpies and other mark Edwards I would give this a miss. its clumsy and full of potholes I was dissapointed

great

really enjoyed the story, the intricate descriptions of smells, sights and feelings really add to the atmosphere. the narration was perfect
