Love this book! The lessons within are timeless and do work! I’ve listened to it I don’t know how many times, trying to embed the lessons into my thick skull. I can’t recommend this enough. It was a hard listen due to the olde language they use but you get used to it. Once you are, the lessons are epic! Listen and re-listen again and again!

I started listening to this and, I don’t know, but I just couldn’t get my head around the accent. Sometimes, us Brits have an issue with the way some Americans talk which puts us off listening to them. Such was the case here, so I stopped listening. A few months later I went back to it and thought I would have another go. I ignored the accent and listened instead to the words! All in all, I loved it once I got into it. She’s funny, down to earth, and says it as it is. It’s also an emotional book in parts, I shed a tear more than once, I can tell you!

I’ve used the principles of “5,4,3,2,1 go” in this book a few times when I’ve been procrastinating on something and it does work. The countdown and GO at the end actually makes you start moving to do whatever it is you don’t really want to do. Now it’s a case of implementing it in more areas of my life. A good listen!
