Vanessa Mazur knows she's doing the right thing. She shouldn't feel bad for quitting. Being an assistant/housekeeper/fairy godmother to the top defensive end in the National Football Organization was always supposed to be temporary. She has plans, and none of them include washing extra-large underwear longer than necessary. But when Aiden Graves shows up at her door wanting her to come back, she's beyond shocked.

I loved this story so much I brought the book!
What a truly gentle story. If you want hot steamy sex, this is not the book for you. If you want a real story written by a talented interesting author ...game on.
Aidan and Van are very likeable characters which as a reader you have a real connection with. Their story is a true love story where respect gives way to like, like to friendship and friendship to love.
I won't give away the plot expect to say there are few dramatic moments and it was very realistic to life. Most of us do not have excitement, brushes with horror or drama and this is what I like about this story. We eat, work, exercise and sleep but the relationships we have with people while we do these things are the key to our lives.
I would put this in my top 100 books as I loved it so much. So nice to read a story that is well thought out, interesting and NICE.
P.S Learnt that what I have been blaming as flu when I have been riding 45+ miles is exhaustion. Thank you to the author for that nugget of wisdom.

What disappointed you about Fated?

I am normally a big fan of R L but this book is so bad that if you told me that it had been written by a 'ghost ' writter it would explain everything. The characters are not complete. Cara goes between really strong (she rips out a throat) to wet and baby like. Drew is not really likeable. The story takes ages to get going then stops. You spend chapters on vomiting and pregnancy....it moves a bit ....then yawn it happens again. The author drops bomb shells ...'in pure' and then it takes chapters of you wondering what that was about, until it was explained again. The dialogue is rehashed constantly ....rip his balls off!!! Seriously it got to the stage where listening to it put my teeth on edge with the same old phrases. For me this turned into car crash TV.....I kept listening thinking 'it must get better' but trust me ...it didn't.All in all this book is dreadful. The plot is week and poorly thought out. Some things are not explained. The characters are annoying and hard to relate to. The dialogue is lazy and rehashed which I might have forgiven if the story was better. Worst of all it is 8 hours of my life that I can never get back. The Editor who approved this needs to be sacked. R L ....I am really disappointed...either sack your ghost writter or go back to what you do best as this is not worthy of you.

What could R. L. Mathewson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Plan out the story!!!!

Would you be willing to try another one of Celestine Wolf’s performances?

Yes...the narrator I think did a reasonable job considering how dire the story was

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Fated?

The entire book

Any additional comments?

Personally I think their should be more quality checks. I know when I buy some authors that the story will be weak but the romance and sex will be hot. Not this author she is normally very professional so I resent paying good money for awful.

Molly Harper brings her signature "clever humor, snark, silliness, and endearing protagonists" ( Booklist) to the charming small town of Lake Sackett, Georgia with the new Southern Eclectic series. Carl and Marianne were high school sweethearts, loving the way only teenagers can - with no thought to logic or pride, just a bone-headed, optimistic frenzy of unicorns and hormones. That was all they needed. Or so Carl thought. Scared of being stuck in Lake Sackett, Georgia, like so many of her friends, Marianne panicked and bolted....

I am a huge fan so be warned this is will be biased. A gentle story of how our decision change with life and experience. A story of how our actions impact upon others and how we can hurt people without meaning to. No great passionate scenes but a real warm romance. The characters are truly likeable and the story flows. I do wish there was an epilogue as I was left worrying about Junior and how everything worked out long term. I think it was left that way because reality meant that it was only going one way but I would still have liked to have seen a sunny day after the rain had gone. Hope that you can whether life's storms and emerge stronger

My first Kele Moon book and I was totally blown away. The story is really sweet but not annoying. All the characters are interesting and engaging. The relationship between Clay and Melody is the type that we all dream of and has been beautifully portrayed. The story is well narrated and I did not get cross or annoyed which is really impressive as this is my biggest niggle normally. A truly beautiful story that was well read.

What disappointed you about Alien Conquest?

The narrator was so wooden that it ruined what already was a poor story. The main characters were annoying & without personality.

Would you ever listen to anything by Scarlett Rhone again?

Nope ...this book has really put me off.

What didn’t you like about Addison Spear’s performance?

She had only monotone mode as she 'read' this story. I say read because that is exactly what it felt like. She did well with the names but it was wooden & annoying.

Any additional comments?

If you read my reviews you will see that I am generally not hard to please. For me to rate something so badly is unusual. This story itself was pretty interesting but it was ruined by weak writting. The heroine was 'undecided' & went from wet to fierce & back again. I was getting whiplash from her sudden mood swings. The sex was anything but hot. Had a different narrator read this you probably could have saved it but the combination of poor writting & wooden narratives have left this in the awful I will return it pile.

I am not a harsh critic so for me to ask for a refund and give 1 star is unusual. This could have been a great story. How can a story about a woman having two sexy brothers in her bed not be ! Well ask your 80 year old English teacher to write a sex scene and this is the result. I cringed at some of the descriptions : definitely not hot just embarrassing. An over use of the English dictionary in an attempt to make a bad writer seem more plausible. Sadly it doesn't detract from the poor flow and the disjointed dialogue; it is merely sad and incredibly annoying. Hot bits : only if you are a virgin and have a rubbish imagination. Seriously this book has made me think perhaps even I should give writing a try. My advice : do not waste your time or your money.

Delivering a rare book to a valued customer is definitely part of mild-mannered archivist Anna Whitfield's job description. You know what isn't? Protecting her precious cargo from midflight theft by the very pilot who is flying her to Half-Moon Hollow...while trying to appear as unappetizing as possible to the only other passenger, a vampire. Undead bookstore owner Jane Jameson could be waiting a very long time for her book. Possibly forever.

I love Molly Harper ....thought I would put that out there before I continue so you know that I am going to gush about this new release.
Molly Harper is my favourite author. Her books are funny (but not in a silly childish way), entertaining & fast paced. No boring over describing, no annoying characters, no cringe worthy scenes.
I have loved all of her books but this is probably my favourite. Perhaps because I see a bit of Anna in myself (anxiety over thinking over achieving) or it could be that it is just a really great story.
Anna confronts her worst fears & finds love, friends , a backbone , pine needle madness, employee of the year Ernie, Possums & lots of paranormals along the way.
I won't spoil it by telling you the story...just that this is a great book (audio is pretty special to) & well worth the money.

Really interesting story if you ignore the dreadfully cheesy sexual stuff. Cringe worthy. The narrator is awful. Her male voices just do NOT work. Her Deep voice especially when he is talking dirty is about the worst I have heard in a book. This story would have benefitted from a male & female narrator. If you can switch off from the truly dreadful narration, it is actually a good story

Witches and glitches and testicle-obsessed cats...Oh my. One dilemma down and approximately 74,876,283 to go. I think being the Shifter Whisperer is hard - or Shifter Wanker as I enjoy referring to my new job - but healing wounded Shifters is easy compared to finding and eliminating the lurking freaking evil. Throw in a ghost, a potentially explosive ex-cellmate, a long lost dad and a smokin' hot werewolf who's convinced he's my mate, and suddenly it's party time - from hell. And this is my mission?
