I had to finish this book to be sure I hadn't missed the reason for its star rating. Misery, darkness and a dreadful story. Dreadful in that it was just awful. No pleasure in reading it. Hours of my life wasted. I feel cheated as I have enjoyed her other books and can only think the ratings are false.

I love Jenny Evlair, read all her books and think she is so funny and she is! but this had me blushing even though I'm 63.. I must have been so naive, and deaf or daft when she was doing these shows as it's only in the last 10 years that I can understand what she is talking about.. hahaha...

Wow, fantastic narration, ingenious story, sagged a little in the middle but simply great novel! Original and catches you out. The last chapters were full and comprehensive. All the loose ends were tied up for once. It leaves a satisfying feeling.

This is s good story, well written and very believable. it was slightly ket down by the narration of 'TV Cop' style bounces and when men read womens parts it always sounds like a drag club. But that is worth ignoring. I really enjoyed this book and a good ending with twist !!
