I don’t know how this book ends as the narration was so bad I gave up. I have never given a bad review before but I cannot help but give it this time. I wish I had listened to the sample, but I enjoy this author and never thought for a moment that I would dislike anything she did

Gracie Jones was little more than a child when Earth was invaded by an alien species. Escaping into the subway tunnels of New York City, she hid in fear of being captured. Discovered by four men who became her protectors, she fought alongside them, and they became known as the Freedom Five. At 17, she made a decision that turned the tide in the war between Earth and the Alluthans, but in exchange, she gave up all that she knew.

S E Smith has done it again. Another well thought out storyline that grabs you, and makes you want to know what happens next. I like David Brenin as the narrator, especially as he doesn't try to put on accents, but tells the story, with, what I think, is a voice that makes you want to listen for hours. This book didn't appear on the U.K. website right away, but when I got in touch with S E Smith about it, she and her team worked hard to find out what the problem was and rectified it. I really enjoyed listening to this book and am waiting patiently for the next.

This charming series of Victorian murder mysteries features mild-mannered Inspector Witherspoon of Scotland Yard and, more importantly, Mrs Jeffries, his housekeeper. A policeman's widow herself, her quick wits allow her to nudge the Inspector in the right direction to solve the crime. Early in the new year, Mrs. Hodges attends her first séance and the medium foresees her death. That same night, the prediction comes true, and Scotland Yard's Inspector Witherspoon, is on the case.

Katie Chandler had always heard that New York is a weird and wonderful place, but this small-town Texas gal had no idea how weird until she moved there. Everywhere she goes, she sees something worth gawking at and Katie is afraid she's a little too normal to make a splash in the big city. Working for an ogre of a boss doesn't help. What made the experience of listening to The Curse of the Pharaohs the most enjoyable?

The narrator Barbara Rosenblat makes you feel like your listening to Amelia and her high handed way of dealing with everyone and everything that gets in her way, but it still comes over as a bit of fun

What about Barbara Rosenblat’s performance did you like?

Barbara's performance was brilliant. It sounded so like the way I have always imagined Amelia and her family would carry one with little or no regard to others as she sweeps everyone aside that doesn't agree with her, but it is very funny

Would you consider the audio edition of Aunt Dimity: Detective to be better than the print version?

Don't know, have never read the book

What was one of the most memorable moments of Aunt Dimity: Detective?

Discovering the murderer

Which character – as performed by Teri Clark Linden – was your favourite?

Lori

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No

Any additional comments?

This is not the story outlined in the summary, however I did enjoy it. It is about a murder that was committed in Finch, and I must admit I had no idea who the killer was. If you want to find out you'll just have to listen to the story.
