Narrator is difficult to listen to. It takes a while to get accustomed to her voice. Sounds like a computer is speaking.

Starts off slow but by second or third chapter I got hooked. Very interesting and eye-opening story of oppressed women in Saudi Arabia and the crimes men get away with.. literally murder, rape and unthinkable horrors.

Demi tells her story so well. The ups and the downs of her life. She has had an amazing life but her struggles have been as large as her successes.
Very easy to listen to. Authentic, real and heartwarming.

LOVED it and love Lily for sharing her story! I only ever knew Lily Allen's songs, but it is amazing to listen to and understand who she is: Where she came from, her struggles, her successes, her opinions, her ideas, the meanings in her songs, the people she met and was influenced by....she is amazing and I loved her book.

long-winded and full of uninteresting details, such as the colour of her tea cups or how splendid everybody is. No dirt, no drama and barely any political events included.

The readers voice has an unusual intonation and monotone that is quite difficult to listen to at the start. After a while I got used to it though. The story is amazing. The first 10 chapters discusses the dirty deeds of Charles, Princess Ann and the Parker Bowles, as well as the various dramatic events surrounding Diana's life. Then the last 9 chapters goes into detail the events surrounding her death, the characters involved and the efforts made to cover up and ignore vital parts of information. A great read.

I really enjoyed this book. Starts off a little slow to get into as the early chapters discuss Kate's family history. Middle to end chapters I couldn't put down. Facanitating story of Kate and Williams relationship and romance. Kate sounds a little too perfect in parts. A great read for information on Kate, as I knew nothing about her until now.

Grabbed my attention from the very beginning. Fantastic first few chapters with the author discussing the book with a BBC Journalist. Then a few chapters of what seems to be the transcripts of tapes Diana made for the author. The second half of the book is the written story. This part fills in a lot of the gaps from the beginning. A little repetitious towards the end but great story. I will be listening to this again.
